A Mother's Testimonial

My daughter was hospitalized at Northeast Georgia Hospital 12-31-13 to 1-10-14. She received a quilt on our second night there from one of the nurses. On our last day there some ladies came in to take our picture with the quilt but we had already packed it up in the car since we were being discharged. I wanted to send you guys a picture of our sweet HEALTHY girl on the quilt. We love it and so does she. It's the blanket she always plays on :)

Thank you for your kindness and time of making these quilts to give to kids in the hospital. It was such a blessing to receive such a wonderful gift in a difficult time. We will always cherish it!

Here's a picture of her on the quilt right after we came home with it. She's much bigger now, but I did want to send you guys a picture of it with her.

The Ellis'

A Father's Testimonial

I had to take this moment to say thank you for the Quilt that was given to my daughter while she was at Northeast GA Medical Center.  I know that it was divine and that you and your caregivers are definitely Angels.  You were to my daughter.

On the 10th of January, I was entering the hospital through the Emergency Room doors and I saw people standing in line to get in and the waiting room was packed!  When I got to the room, I tweeted that I saw standing room only with doctors and nurses with masks.  A very dear Godly friend read my post and he said we should pray for those sick.  I agreed with him but I said, but let us also pray for our caregivers as well they are literally Angels to so many.  The doctors & nurses looked so tired.  He agreed & we prayed.  We lifted up those that were sick but called out the caregivers as well.

The next day I entered the room there was a quilt on my daughters bed!  I asked my daughter where it came from and she said a lady brought it.  I looked at the markings on the underside and then I said as tears literally rolled down my cheeks, I said , "Oh no, it was an Angel."  I began to weep, literally weep!  God softly whispered to me and quietly said, thank you for the prayers for the caregivers for they are truly My Angels.

So you see my friend, just know that your work is touching lives and absolutely touching the very heart of God!  May God continue to richly bless your ministry, for on that day our lives were touched by your kindness.  God bless.

The quilt you gave Ellison while she was in the hospital is so beautiful!  And what an unexpected gift - It lifted our spirits!  She's all better now.

Thank you so much!!

Thank you so much.  She loves the quilt and book!

(Books were also given with the quilts that were delivered to the Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital from 2015-2021.)

Thank you so much for the beautiful quilt you gave to our daughter during her stay in the hospital,  We thought it would be a 1-2 day stay but ended up being a 10 day stay.  We went in there totally unprepared to be there that long so the quilt was used daily and will be a pleasant keepsake from the hospital rather than the memories of IVs, blood draws, catheters and sleepless nights!  Thank you for your sweet ministry and we want to help "pay it forward" by giving a donation to you.

Thank you again!

I am writing to extend our sincere thanks on behalf of the Pediatric Department at Northeast Georgia Medical Center for your continued generosity in donating the beautifully made quilts to our department to be distributed to our pediatric patients.  Your thoughtfulness has brought such great joy to our patients and their families over the years.  Your support is much appreciated as it also helps our mission in improving health in our community in all we do.
